Leadership Development

Overview

Racial equity work requires champions and the skills of leadership at all levels and in all sectors. When considering leadership strategies, it is important to clarify whether the group wants to develop the capacities of leadership within a community very broadly, support the development of particular people as leaders, or both. It is also important to consider the capacities of leadership that may be required to move a particular agenda forward.

This section includes resources on leadership that are especially useful to groups that want to support the ability of a very wide group of people to hold courageous conversations, take risks and move a racial justice agenda forward.
